District Facts
Formed in 1979, Harris County MUD No. 136 ("District") is located within Harris County, Texas and serves over one thousand residential, commercial and irrigation customers from two water wells located within the District.
The District maintains a Superior Water rating from the State of Texas.
The District owns capacity in the Jackrabbit Road Public Utility District for processing wastewater.

The District Board of Directors meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:00pm at 4045 Deerfield Village Drive, in the Deerfield Village Recreation Center. Meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. |

Auto-Draft Your Water Bill!
The
District offers an automatic
payment service to all customers. This service allows customers to
automatically pay their water and sewer bill.
The payment service works like this: you will receive a statement in the mail with all monthly charges and usage information for your account; the statement will detail the amount due and the date your bank account will be drafted for these funds; and, your statement will also have ”Bank Draft” printed on it. To participate in the program, you must complete paperwork giving the District authorization to debit your bank account. There is a $1.00 monthly fee assessed by the bank providing this service. You may avoid this additional fee by using on-line banking at your personal bank.
